TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are applied to the relationship between the potential guest (hereinafter referred to as Customer or Guest), and Segmentdesafio, Lda. (hereinafter referred to as EMPRESA), holder of the BEACHOME4U, from the moment of the booking request until the end of the period of stay. All accommodation contracts and related agreements made between BEACHOME4U and a Customer shall be in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by laws, regulations applicable or generally accepted practices.

  1. Booking
  1. Bookings can be made by telefone, e-mail e website. All bookings are subject to availability.
  2. When booking an accommodation with EMPRESA related to BEACHOME4U, Customers are required to provide the following information:
  • Name(s) of the customer(s);
  • Contacts (email and telephone number);
  • Country of origin;
  • Date of accommodation and the estimated time of arrival; and
  • Other information deemed necessary by us.
  1. Booking Conditions are subject to availability and payment confirmation.
  2. To confirm the reservation, the Customer must make the respective payment, as foreseen for each accommodation.
  3. In order to provide the information required, Customers will be invited to fill in an Accommodation Bulletin, which is of the utmost importance for the preparation of their stay.

The Accommodation Bulletin will request, in particular, the time of arrival, the total number of people staying as well as mandatory information within the scope of foreigners and border services. Customers must indicate the exact number of people that will be using the room in the Accommodation Bulletin. The number of guests present in the accommodation cannot exceed the number of guests specified in the reservation. If the number of guests exceeds the limit, the accommodation reserves the right to require guests to leave the accommodation without any compensation or refund of fees paid. The Accommodation cannot assume any responsibility for the incorrect or non-completion of the Accommodation Bulletin.

  1. Cancellation Policy
  1. Conditions for the cancellation of bookings depend on the advance of the respective communication:
  • If it is up to 30 days before the check-in date, no fee will be charged;
  • If it is during the 30 prior to the check-in date, the full fee for the booking will be charged;
  1. The already accommodated Customer may interrupt his stay at any time, without any right to reimbursement.
  2. If we need to cancel a booking, the Customer will be given a full refund of the amounts paid provided it’s not the cause of the cancellation, but we shall have no further liability arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use all reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed booking cancelled by to an alternative location similar in standard to BEACHOME4U.
  1. Arrival and Departure
  1. At check-in, every guest must identify himself and provide his identification document (ID card/passport). EMPRESA, holder of the BEACHOME4U, provides the room of the booked category starting at 3 p.m. and until 11.59 p.m. on the scheduled date of arrival.
  2. Upon check-in, the Customer will be given a key to the booked room. If any key is lost, it should be immediately reported to the Staff and the value of the key will be charged.
  3. On the departure date, the Customer must leave the room vacant of any people and belongings and without any damages until 11 a.m. The key given to access the room must be returned upon check-out.
  4. An Accommodation Reservation is a limited license to enter, occupy and use the Accommodation. If you stay past checkout hour (11 a.m.) EMPRESA, or BEACHOME4U management, has the right to make you leave in a manner consistent with applicable law, including by imposing reasonable overstay penalties (50% of the full room price for the day of departure, or if the room is only vacated after 2 p.m., the full price.
  5. Check-in and check-out may occur outside of the specified time provided that the availability of the collaborators of BEACHOME4U is verified.

  1. Only the persons identified in the accommodation booking have the right to use the respective room. The temporary visit of non-identified guests is only allowed with previous consent from the BEACHOME4U management. Customers may not exceed the maximum number of allowed guests.
  2. All items found in the accommodation belong to Segmentdesafio lda, holder of BEACHOME4U, and must not be moved or removed from the property during the stay. Any and all problems within the accommodation (eg electrical problems, equipment malfunctions, water leaks) must be immediately reported to the BEACHOME4U management by email or telephone. Depending on the issue, resolution can take up to 72 hours, or longer if relying on third-party services.
  3. While respecting guests' privacy, our team reserves the right to access the accommodation at any time, if necessary, for inspections, repairs, and emergencies.
  4. The common areas and the equipment available to the guests must be properly used and always be left clean and in a good condition.
  5. The Customer is responsible for its own acts and omissions and is also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone he/she invites to join or provides access to any Accommodation. For example, this means the Customer: (i) is responsible for leaving the Accommodation in the condition it was in when he/she arrived, (ii) is responsible for paying all Damage Claim amounts necessary to cover damage that he/she or its guest(s) caused to an Accommodation, and (iii) must act with integrity, treat others with respect and always comply with applicable laws.
  6. Customers are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with BEACHOME4U” procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for its property, its employees and guests. Customers are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of BEACHOME4U, or cause offense to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services, or to remove you and members of your group from the house if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. In this case BEACHOME4U shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
  7. Customers should also take all necessary precautions to prevent theft. It is advisable to check if all doors and windows are closed before leaving the premises. For your own safety, please pay special attention to the front door of the building and ensure that this is always properly closed. For those with a vehicle, it is essential to not have visible items inside the vehicle.
  8. Every damage, malfunction and theft associated with the Customer will be charged according to the value of the damages.
  9. All children are welcome, and those under 2 years of age are free of charge. However if you are booking for an additional guest who is a minor, the Customer must be legally authorized to act on behalf of the minor and is the sole responsible for the supervision of that minor.
  10. It is strictly forbidden to lodge animals in BEACHOME4U. The introduction of animals by the Customer allows the BEACHOME4U management to inform the Customer of the obligation to leave, and the values paid in the meantime for the room in the booked period of stay will not be reimbursed.
  11. Due to a matter of respect and understanding towards all the guests, it is asked a special attention not to make any noise in the common areas, stairs, and corridors. Any activities that cause noise susceptible of disturbing the other guests are not allowed between 10 p. m. and 9 a. m..
  12. The Customer hereby warrants and ensures that he/she will not keep in the rooms any of the following:
  • Any live animals of any description;
  • Firearms, illegal drugs, and any other illegal substances or items;
  • Anything specified, at any time, as being prohibited by the management;
  1. The Customer hereby warrants that they will not use the room for any illegal purpose, or sublet it.
  1. Price and Payment Conditions
  1. The price of stay paid by the Customer constitutes the right to use the booked room in the period between arrival and departure. The price will be charged regardless of whether the Customer effectively uses the room or not.
  2. All prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.
  3. Offers and promotions are temporary, defined by specific conditions, and subject to availability.
  4. The payment of the value of stay and additional services must be done at check-in or at the time of the booking.
  5. The payment can be made through one of these accepted credit cards: Euro/Mastercard, JCB, Discover, Visa, Diners Club, Maestro, UnionPay. It’s also possible to pay with cash, provided its EURO, and through Bank Transfer if made in the proper time. Any other form of payment is not acceptable.
  1. Responsibility of BEACHOME4U
  1. BEACHOME4U management will be responsible for ensuring proper conditions of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety of the guest house. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for any personal items that may disappear from within its facilities, for any damage to the Customer’s vehicles, and does not take any responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Customer in case of electronic transmission of payment data, being only responsible if there was an unlawful action attributable to it.
  2. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible to the Customer in the event of a delay in room availability if there is a reason of force majeure. It will be considered force majeure the reasons that make it impossible or more difficult to have the room available, such as strikes, blocks, natural disasters, accidents in the room or in the guest house.
  3. Although EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management has endeavoured to insure all information in its advertising material is correct at the time of printing, it reserves all rights to alter, replace or withdraw any service, facility or amenity at any time, without notice if necessary.
  4. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management is entitled to terminate the agreement without prior notice if the guest use the rented room for another purpose that does not meet the requirements outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
  5. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for the loss, damage or other to the service or data of the Customer computer when using the free wi-fi provided.
  1. Personal Data
  1. The Customer’s personal data and of those accompanying, if applicable, will be stored and processed by EMPRESA and service providers, in accordance with the Law and BEACHOME4U privacy and cookies policy present on the website, for the services requested by the Customer and for advertising campaigns. The Customer has the right to oppose at any moment to the use of personal data for advertising purposes. Unless there is contrary legislation, the Customer’s personal data must be excluded when the legal retention period is over.
  1. General Provisions
  1. The validity, interpretation and execution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Portugal. The nullity of one or more of the aforementioned regulations does not impair the validity of the remaining regulations.
  2. All disputes arising out of, or in connection with, the accommodation or any agreement related thereto entered into between us and a guest, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court the Country of Lisboa

  108. Responsibility of BEACHOME4U
  109. BEACHOME4U management will be responsible for ensuring proper conditions of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety of the guest house. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for any personal items that may disappear from within its facilities, for any damage to the Customer’s vehicles, and does not take any responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Customer in case of electronic transmission of payment data, being only responsible if there was an unlawful action attributable to it.
  110. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible to the Customer in the event of a delay in room availability if there is a reason of force majeure. It will be considered force majeure the reasons that make it impossible or more difficult to have the room available, such as strikes, blocks, natural disasters, accidents in the room or in the guest house.
  111. Although EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management has endeavoured to insure all information in its advertising material is correct at the time of printing, it reserves all rights to alter, replace or withdraw any service, facility or amenity at any time, without notice if necessary.
  112. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management is entitled to terminate the agreement without prior notice if the guest use the rented room for another purpose that does not meet the requirements outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
  113. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for the loss, damage or other to the service or data of the Customer computer when using the free wi-fi provided.
  114. Personal Data
  115. The Customer’s personal data and of those accompanying, if applicable, will be stored and processed by EMPRESA and service providers, in accordance with the Law and BEACHOME4U privacy and cookies policy present on the website, for the services requested by the Customer and for advertising campaigns. The Customer has the right to oppose at any moment to the use of personal data for advertising purposes. Unless there is contrary legislation, the Customer’s personal data must be excluded when the legal retention period is over.
  116. General Provisions
  117. The validity, interpretation and execution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Portugal. The nullity of one or more of the aforementioned regulations does not impair the validity of the remaining regulations.

  124. Country of origin;
  125. Date of accommodation and the estimated time of arrival; and
  126. Other information deemed necessary by us.
  127. Booking Conditions are subject to availability and payment confirmation.
  128. To confirm the reservation, the Customer must make the respective payment, as foreseen for each accommodation.
  129. In order to provide the information required, Customers will be invited to fill in an Accommodation Bulletin, which is of the utmost importance for the preparation of their stay.
  130. The Accommodation Bulletin will request, in particular, the time of arrival, the total number of people staying as well as mandatory information within the scope of foreigners and border services. Customers must indicate the exact number of people that will be using the room in the Accommodation Bulletin. The number of guests present in the accommodation cannot exceed the number of guests specified in the reservation. If the number of guests exceeds the limit, the accommodation reserves the right to require guests to leave the accommodation without any compensation or refund of fees paid. The Accommodation cannot assume any responsibility for the incorrect or non-completion of the Accommodation Bulletin.

  131. Cancellation Policy
  132. Conditions for the cancellation of bookings depend on the advance of the respective communication:
  133. If it is up to 30 days before the check-in date, no fee will be charged;
  134. If it is during the 30 prior to the check-in date, the full fee for the booking will be charged;
  135. The already accommodated Customer may interrupt his stay at any time, without any right to reimbursement.
  136. If we need to cancel a booking, the Customer will be given a full refund of the amounts paid provided it’s not the cause of the cancellation, but we shall have no further liability arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use all reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed booking cancelled by to an alternative location similar in standard to BEACHOME4U.
  137. Arrival and Departure
  138. At check-in, every guest must identify himself and provide his identification document (ID card/passport). EMPRESA, holder of the BEACHOME4U, provides the room of the booked category starting at 3 p.m. and until 11.59 p.m. on the scheduled date of arrival.
  139. Upon check-in, the Customer will be given a key to the booked room. If any key is lost, it should be immediately reported to the Staff and the value of the key will be charged.
  140. On the departure date, the Customer must leave the room vacant of any people and belongings and without any damages until 11 a.m. The key given to access the room must be returned upon check-out.
  141. An Accommodation Reservation is a limited license to enter, occupy and use the Accommodation. If you stay past checkout hour (11 a.m.) EMPRESA, or BEACHOME4U management, has the right to make you leave in a manner consistent with applicable law, including by imposing reasonable overstay penalties (50% of the full room price for the day of departure, or if the room is only vacated after 2 p.m., the full price.
  142. Check-in and check-out may occur outside of the specified time provided that the availability of the collaborators of BEACHOME4U is verified.
  143. Terms of Use
  144. Only the persons identified in the accommodation booking have the right to use the respective room. The temporary visit of non-identified guests is only allowed with previous consent from the BEACHOME4U management. Customers may not exceed the maximum number of allowed guests.
  145. All items found in the accommodation belong to Segmentdesafio lda, holder of BEACHOME4U, and must not be moved or removed from the property during the stay. Any and all problems within the accommodation (eg electrical problems, equipment malfunctions, water leaks) must be immediately reported to the BEACHOME4U management by email or telephone. Depending on the issue, resolution can take up to 72 hours, or longer if relying on third-party services.
  146. While respecting guests' privacy, our team reserves the right to access the accommodation at any time, if necessary, for inspections, repairs, and emergencies.
  147. The common areas and the equipment available to the guests must be properly used and always be left clean and in a good condition.
  148. The Customer is responsible for its own acts and omissions and is also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone he/she invites to join or provides access to any Accommodation. For example, this means the Customer: (i) is responsible for leaving the Accommodation in the condition it was in when he/she arrived, (ii) is responsible for paying all Damage Claim amounts necessary to cover damage that he/she or its guest(s) caused to an Accommodation, and (iii) must act with integrity, treat others with respect and always comply with applicable laws.
  149. Customers are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with BEACHOME4U” procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for its property, its employees and guests. Customers are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of BEACHOME4U, or cause offense to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services, or to remove you and members of your group from the house if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. In this case BEACHOME4U shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
  150. Customers should also take all necessary precautions to prevent theft. It is advisable to check if all doors and windows are closed before leaving the premises. For your own safety, please pay special attention to the front door of the building and ensure that this is always properly closed. For those with a vehicle, it is essential to not have visible items inside the vehicle.
  151. Every damage, malfunction and theft associated with the Customer will be charged according to the value of the damages.
  152. All children are welcome, and those under 2 years of age are free of charge. However if you are booking for an additional guest who is a minor, the Customer must be legally authorized to act on behalf of the minor and is the sole responsible for the supervision of that minor.
  153. It is strictly forbidden to lodge animals in BEACHOME4U. The introduction of animals by the Customer allows the BEACHOME4U management to inform the Customer of the obligation to leave, and the values paid in the meantime for the room in the booked period of stay will not be reimbursed.
  154. Due to a matter of respect and understanding towards all the guests, it is asked a special attention not to make any noise in the common areas, stairs, and corridors. Any activities that cause noise susceptible of disturbing the other guests are not allowed between 10 p. m. and 9 a. m..
  155. The Customer hereby warrants and ensures that he/she will not keep in the rooms any of the following:
  156. Any live animals of any description;
  157. Firearms, illegal drugs, and any other illegal substances or items;
  158. Anything specified, at any time, as being prohibited by the management;
  159. The Customer hereby warrants that they will not use the room for any illegal purpose, or sublet it.

Any and all problems within the accommodation (eg electrical problems, equipment malfunctions, water leaks) must be immediately reported to the BEACHOME4U management by email or telephone. Depending on the issue, resolution can take up to 72 hours, or longer if relying on third-party services.
  262. While respecting guests' privacy, our team reserves the right to access the accommodation at any time, if necessary, for inspections, repairs, and emergencies.
  263. The common areas and the equipment available to the guests must be properly used and always be left clean and in a good condition.
  264. The Customer is responsible for its own acts and omissions and is also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone he/she invites to join or provides access to any Accommodation. For example, this means the Customer: (i) is responsible for leaving the Accommodation in the condition it was in when he/she arrived, (ii) is responsible for paying all Damage Claim amounts necessary to cover damage that he/she or its guest(s) caused to an Accommodation, and (iii) must act with integrity, treat others with respect and always comply with applicable laws.
  265. Customers are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with BEACHOME4U” procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for its property, its employees and guests. Customers are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of BEACHOME4U, or cause offense to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services, or to remove you and members of your group from the house if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. In this case BEACHOME4U shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
  266. Customers should also take all necessary precautions to prevent theft. It is advisable to check if all doors and windows are closed before leaving the premises. For your own safety, please pay special attention to the front door of the building and ensure that this is always properly closed. For those with a vehicle, it is essential to not have visible items inside the vehicle.
  267. Every damage, malfunction and theft associated with the Customer will be charged according to the value of the damages.
  268. All children are welcome, and those under 2 years of age are free of charge. However if you are booking for an additional guest who is a minor, the Customer must be legally authorized to act on behalf of the minor and is the sole responsible for the supervision of that minor.
  269. It is strictly forbidden to lodge animals in BEACHOME4U. The introduction of animals by the Customer allows the BEACHOME4U management to inform the Customer of the obligation to leave, and the values paid in the meantime for the room in the booked period of stay will not be reimbursed.
  270. Due to a matter of respect and understanding towards all the guests, it is asked a special attention not to make any noise in the common areas, stairs, and corridors. Any activities that cause noise susceptible of disturbing the other guests are not allowed between 10 p. m. and 9 a. m..
  271. The Customer hereby warrants and ensures that he/she will not keep in the rooms any of the following:
  272. Any live animals of any description;
  273. Firearms, illegal drugs, and any other illegal substances or items;
  274. Anything specified, at any time, as being prohibited by the management;
  275. The Customer hereby warrants that they will not use the room for any illegal purpose, or sublet it.
  276. Price and Payment Conditions
  277. The price of stay paid by the Customer constitutes the right to use the booked room in the period between arrival and departure. The price will be charged regardless of whether the Customer effectively uses the room or not.

  280. The payment of the value of stay and additional services must be done at check-in or at the time of the booking.

  282. Responsibility of BEACHOME4U
  283. BEACHOME4U management will be responsible for ensuring proper conditions of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety of the guest house. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for any personal items that may disappear from within its facilities, for any damage to the Customer’s vehicles, and does not take any responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Customer in case of electronic transmission of payment data, being only responsible if there was an unlawful action attributable to it.
  284. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible to the Customer in the event of a delay in room availability if there is a reason of force majeure. It will be considered force majeure the reasons that make it impossible or more difficult to have the room available, such as strikes, blocks, natural disasters, accidents in the room or in the guest house.
  285. Although EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management has endeavoured to insure all information in its advertising material is correct at the time of printing, it reserves all rights to alter, replace or withdraw any service, facility or amenity at any time, without notice if necessary.
  286. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management is entitled to terminate the agreement without prior notice if the guest use the rented room for another purpose that does not meet the requirements outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
  287. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for the loss, damage or other to the service or data of the Customer computer when using the free wi-fi provided.
  288. Personal Data
  289. The Customer’s personal data and of those accompanying, if applicable, will be stored and processed by EMPRESA and service providers, in accordance with the Law and BEACHOME4U privacy and cookies policy present on the website, for the services requested by the Customer and for advertising campaigns. The Customer has the right to oppose at any moment to the use of personal data for advertising purposes. Unless there is contrary legislation, the Customer’s personal data must be excluded when the legal retention period is over.
  290. General Provisions
  291. The validity, interpretation and execution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Portugal. The nullity of one or more of the aforementioned regulations does not impair the validity of the remaining regulations.
  292. All disputes arising out of, or in connection with, the accommodation or any agreement related thereto entered into between us and a guest, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court the Country of Lisboa

  295. When booking an accommodation with EMPRESA related to BEACHOME4U, Customers are required to provide the following information:

  297. Contacts (email and telephone number);
  298. Country of origin;
  299. Date of accommodation and the estimated time of arrival; and
  300. Other information deemed necessary by us.
  301. Booking Conditions are subject to availability and payment confirmation.
  302. To confirm the reservation, the Customer must make the respective payment, as foreseen for each accommodation.
  303. In order to provide the information required, Customers will be invited to fill in an Accommodation Bulletin, which is of the utmost importance for the preparation of their stay.
  304. The Accommodation Bulletin will request, in particular, the time of arrival, the total number of people staying as well as mandatory information within the scope of foreigners and border services. Customers must indicate the exact number of people that will be using the room in the Accommodation Bulletin. The number of guests present in the accommodation cannot exceed the number of guests specified in the reservation. If the number of guests exceeds the limit, the accommodation reserves the right to require guests to leave the accommodation without any compensation or refund of fees paid. The Accommodation cannot assume any responsibility for the incorrect or non-completion of the Accommodation Bulletin.

  305. Cancellation Policy
  306. Conditions for the cancellation of bookings depend on the advance of the respective communication:
  307. If it is up to 30 days before the check-in date, no fee will be charged;
  308. If it is during the 30 prior to the check-in date, the full fee for the booking will be charged;
  309. The already accommodated Customer may interrupt his stay at any time, without any right to reimbursement.
  310. If we need to cancel a booking, the Customer will be given a full refund of the amounts paid provided it’s not the cause of the cancellation, but we shall have no further liability arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use all reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed booking cancelled by to an alternative location similar in standard to BEACHOME4U.
  311. Arrival and Departure
  312. At check-in, every guest must identify himself and provide his identification document (ID card/passport). EMPRESA, holder of the BEACHOME4U, provides the room of the booked category starting at 3 p.m. and until 11.59 p.m. on the scheduled date of arrival.
  313. Upon check-in, the Customer will be given a key to the booked room. If any key is lost, it should be immediately reported to the Staff and the value of the key will be charged.
  314. On the departure date, the Customer must leave the room vacant of any people and belongings and without any damages until 11 a.m. The key given to access the room must be returned upon check-out.
  315. An Accommodation Reservation is a limited license to enter, occupy and use the Accommodation. If you stay past checkout hour (11 a.m.) EMPRESA, or BEACHOME4U management, has the right to make you leave in a manner consistent with applicable law, including by imposing reasonable overstay penalties (50% of the full room price for the day of departure, or if the room is only vacated after 2 p.m., the full price.
  316. Check-in and check-out may occur outside of the specified time provided that the availability of the collaborators of BEACHOME4U is verified.

  418. To confirm the reservation, the Customer must make the respective payment, as foreseen for each accommodation.
  419. In order to provide the information required, Customers will be invited to fill in an Accommodation Bulletin, which is of the utmost importance for the preparation of their stay.

The Accommodation Bulletin will request, in particular, the time of arrival, the total number of people staying as well as mandatory information within the scope of foreigners and border services. Customers must indicate the exact number of people that will be using the room in the Accommodation Bulletin. The number of guests present in the accommodation cannot exceed the number of guests specified in the reservation. If the number of guests exceeds the limit, the accommodation reserves the right to require guests to leave the accommodation without any compensation or refund of fees paid. The Accommodation cannot assume any responsibility for the incorrect or non-completion of the Accommodation Bulletin.

  421. Cancellation Policy
  422. Conditions for the cancellation of bookings depend on the advance of the respective communication:
  423. If it is up to 30 days before the check-in date, no fee will be charged;
  424. If it is during the 30 prior to the check-in date, the full fee for the booking will be charged;
  425. The already accommodated Customer may interrupt his stay at any time, without any right to reimbursement.

If we need to cancel a booking, the Customer will be given a full refund of the amounts paid provided it’s not the cause of the cancellation, but we shall have no further liability arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use all reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed booking cancelled by to an alternative location similar in standard to BEACHOME4U.
  427. Arrival and Departure
  428. At check-in, every guest must identify himself and provide his identification document (ID card/passport). EMPRESA, holder of the BEACHOME4U, provides the room of the booked category starting at 3 p.m. and until 11.59 p.m. on the scheduled date of arrival.
  429. Upon check-in, the Customer will be given a key to the booked room. If any key is lost, it should be immediately reported to the Staff and the value of the key will be charged.
  430. On the departure date, the Customer must leave the room vacant of any people and belongings and without any damages until 11 a.m. The key given to access the room must be returned upon check-out.
  431. An Accommodation Reservation is a limited license to enter, occupy and use the Accommodation. If you stay past checkout hour (11 a.m.) EMPRESA, or BEACHOME4U management, has the right to make you leave in a manner consistent with applicable law, including by imposing reasonable overstay penalties (50% of the full room price for the day of departure, or if the room is only vacated after 2 p.m., the full price.
  432. Check-in and check-out may occur outside of the specified time provided that the availability of the collaborators of BEACHOME4U is verified.

Any and all problems within the accommodation (eg electrical problems, equipment malfunctions, water leaks) must be immediately reported to the BEACHOME4U management by email or telephone. Depending on the issue, resolution can take up to 72 hours, or longer if relying on third-party services.
  436. While respecting guests' privacy, our team reserves the right to access the accommodation at any time, if necessary, for inspections, repairs, and emergencies.
  437. The common areas and the equipment available to the guests must be properly used and always be left clean and in a good condition.
  438. The Customer is responsible for its own acts and omissions and is also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone he/she invites to join or provides access to any Accommodation. For example, this means the Customer: (i) is responsible for leaving the Accommodation in the condition it was in when he/she arrived, (ii) is responsible for paying all Damage Claim amounts necessary to cover damage that he/she or its guest(s) caused to an Accommodation, and (iii) must act with integrity, treat others with respect and always comply with applicable laws.
  439. Customers are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with BEACHOME4U” procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for its property, its employees and guests. Customers are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of BEACHOME4U, or cause offense to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services, or to remove you and members of your group from the house if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. In this case BEACHOME4U shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
  440. Customers should also take all necessary precautions to prevent theft. It is advisable to check if all doors and windows are closed before leaving the premises. For your own safety, please pay special attention to the front door of the building and ensure that this is always properly closed. For those with a vehicle, it is essential to not have visible items inside the vehicle.
  441. Every damage, malfunction and theft associated with the Customer will be charged according to the value of the damages.
  442. All children are welcome, and those under 2 years of age are free of charge. However if you are booking for an additional guest who is a minor, the Customer must be legally authorized to act on behalf of the minor and is the sole responsible for the supervision of that minor.
  443. It is strictly forbidden to lodge animals in BEACHOME4U. The introduction of animals by the Customer allows the BEACHOME4U management to inform the Customer of the obligation to leave, and the values paid in the meantime for the room in the booked period of stay will not be reimbursed.
  444. Due to a matter of respect and understanding towards all the guests, it is asked a special attention not to make any noise in the common areas, stairs, and corridors. Any activities that cause noise susceptible of disturbing the other guests are not allowed between 10 p. m. and 9 a. m..
  445. The Customer hereby warrants and ensures that he/she will not keep in the rooms any of the following:
  446. Any live animals of any description;
  447. Firearms, illegal drugs, and any other illegal substances or items;
  448. Anything specified, at any time, as being prohibited by the management;
  449. The Customer hereby warrants that they will not use the room for any illegal purpose, or sublet it.

  451. The price of stay paid by the Customer constitutes the right to use the booked room in the period between arrival and departure. The price will be charged regardless of whether the Customer effectively uses the room or not.

  457. BEACHOME4U management will be responsible for ensuring proper conditions of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety of the guest house. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for any personal items that may disappear from within its facilities, for any damage to the Customer’s vehicles, and does not take any responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Customer in case of electronic transmission of payment data, being only responsible if there was an unlawful action attributable to it.
  458. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible to the Customer in the event of a delay in room availability if there is a reason of force majeure. It will be considered force majeure the reasons that make it impossible or more difficult to have the room available, such as strikes, blocks, natural disasters, accidents in the room or in the guest house.
  459. Although EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management has endeavoured to insure all information in its advertising material is correct at the time of printing, it reserves all rights to alter, replace or withdraw any service, facility or amenity at any time, without notice if necessary.
  460. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management is entitled to terminate the agreement without prior notice if the guest use the rented room for another purpose that does not meet the requirements outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
  461. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for the loss, damage or other to the service or data of the Customer computer when using the free wi-fi provided.
  462. Personal Data
  463. The Customer’s personal data and of those accompanying, if applicable, will be stored and processed by EMPRESA and service providers, in accordance with the Law and BEACHOME4U privacy and cookies policy present on the website, for the services requested by the Customer and for advertising campaigns. The Customer has the right to oppose at any moment to the use of personal data for advertising purposes. Unless there is contrary legislation, the Customer’s personal data must be excluded when the legal retention period is over.
  464. General Provisions
  465. The validity, interpretation and execution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Portugal. The nullity of one or more of the aforementioned regulations does not impair the validity of the remaining regulations.
  466. All disputes arising out of, or in connection with, the accommodation or any agreement related thereto entered into between us and a guest, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court the Country of Lisboa

EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for any personal items that may disappear from within its facilities, for any damage to the Customer’s vehicles, and does not take any responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Customer in case of electronic transmission of payment data, being only responsible if there was an unlawful action attributable to it.
  574. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible to the Customer in the event of a delay in room availability if there is a reason of force majeure. It will be considered force majeure the reasons that make it impossible or more difficult to have the room available, such as strikes, blocks, natural disasters, accidents in the room or in the guest house.
  575. Although EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management has endeavoured to insure all information in its advertising material is correct at the time of printing, it reserves all rights to alter, replace or withdraw any service, facility or amenity at any time, without notice if necessary.
  576. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management is entitled to terminate the agreement without prior notice if the guest use the rented room for another purpose that does not meet the requirements outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
  577. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for the loss, damage or other to the service or data of the Customer computer when using the free wi-fi provided.
  578. Personal Data
  579. The Customer’s personal data and of those accompanying, if applicable, will be stored and processed by EMPRESA and service providers, in accordance with the Law and BEACHOME4U privacy and cookies policy present on the website, for the services requested by the Customer and for advertising campaigns. The Customer has the right to oppose at any moment to the use of personal data for advertising purposes. Unless there is contrary legislation, the Customer’s personal data must be excluded when the legal retention period is over.
  580. General Provisions
  581. The validity, interpretation and execution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Portugal. The nullity of one or more of the aforementioned regulations does not impair the validity of the remaining regulations.
  582. All disputes arising out of, or in connection with, the accommodation or any agreement related thereto entered into between us and a guest, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court the Country of Lisboa

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are applied to the relationship between the potential guest (hereinafter referred to as Customer or Guest), and Segmentdesafio, Lda. (hereinafter referred to as EMPRESA), holder of the BEACHOME4U, from the moment of the booking request until the end of the period of stay. All accommodation contracts and related agreements made between BEACHOME4U and a Customer shall be in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by laws, regulations applicable or generally accepted practices.

  583. Booking
  584. Bookings can be made by telefone, e-mail e website. All bookings are subject to availability.
  585. When booking an accommodation with EMPRESA related to BEACHOME4U, Customers are required to provide the following information:
  586. Name(s) of the customer(s);
  587. Contacts (email and telephone number);
  588. Country of origin;
  589. Date of accommodation and the estimated time of arrival; and
  590. Other information deemed necessary by us.
  591. Booking Conditions are subject to availability and payment confirmation.
  592. To confirm the reservation, the Customer must make the respective payment, as foreseen for each accommodation.
  593. In order to provide the information required, Customers will be invited to fill in an Accommodation Bulletin, which is of the utmost importance for the preparation of their stay.
  594. The Accommodation Bulletin will request, in particular, the time of arrival, the total number of people staying as well as mandatory information within the scope of foreigners and border services. Customers must indicate the exact number of people that will be using the room in the Accommodation Bulletin. The number of guests present in the accommodation cannot exceed the number of guests specified in the reservation. If the number of guests exceeds the limit, the accommodation reserves the right to require guests to leave the accommodation without any compensation or refund of fees paid. The Accommodation cannot assume any responsibility for the incorrect or non-completion of the Accommodation Bulletin.

  595. Cancellation Policy
  596. Conditions for the cancellation of bookings depend on the advance of the respective communication:
  597. If it is up to 30 days before the check-in date, no fee will be charged;
  598. If it is during the 30 prior to the check-in date, the full fee for the booking will be charged;
  599. The already accommodated Customer may interrupt his stay at any time, without any right to reimbursement.
  600. If we need to cancel a booking, the Customer will be given a full refund of the amounts paid provided it’s not the cause of the cancellation, but we shall have no further liability arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use all reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed booking cancelled by to an alternative location similar in standard to BEACHOME4U.
  601. Arrival and Departure
  602. At check-in, every guest must identify himself and provide his identification document (ID card/passport). EMPRESA, holder of the BEACHOME4U, provides the room of the booked category starting at 3 p.m. and until 11.59 p.m. on the scheduled date of arrival.
  603. Upon check-in, the Customer will be given a key to the booked room. If any key is lost, it should be immediately reported to the Staff and the value of the key will be charged.
  604. On the departure date, the Customer must leave the room vacant of any people and belongings and without any damages until 11 a.m. The key given to access the room must be returned upon check-out.
  605. An Accommodation Reservation is a limited license to enter, occupy and use the Accommodation. If you stay past checkout hour (11 a.m.) EMPRESA, or BEACHOME4U management, has the right to make you leave in a manner consistent with applicable law, including by imposing reasonable overstay penalties (50% of the full room price for the day of departure, or if the room is only vacated after 2 p.m., the full price.
  606. Check-in and check-out may occur outside of the specified time provided that the availability of the collaborators of BEACHOME4U is verified.
  607. Terms of Use
  608. Only the persons identified in the accommodation booking have the right to use the respective room. The temporary visit of non-identified guests is only allowed with previous consent from the BEACHOME4U management. Customers may not exceed the maximum number of allowed guests.
  609. All items found in the accommodation belong to Segmentdesafio lda, holder of BEACHOME4U, and must not be moved or removed from the property during the stay. Any and all problems within the accommodation (eg electrical problems, equipment malfunctions, water leaks) must be immediately reported to the BEACHOME4U management by email or telephone. Depending on the issue, resolution can take up to 72 hours, or longer if relying on third-party services.
  610. While respecting guests' privacy, our team reserves the right to access the accommodation at any time, if necessary, for inspections, repairs, and emergencies.
  611. The common areas and the equipment available to the guests must be properly used and always be left clean and in a good condition.
  612. The Customer is responsible for its own acts and omissions and is also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone he/she invites to join or provides access to any Accommodation. For example, this means the Customer: (i) is responsible for leaving the Accommodation in the condition it was in when he/she arrived, (ii) is responsible for paying all Damage Claim amounts necessary to cover damage that he/she or its guest(s) caused to an Accommodation, and (iii) must act with integrity, treat others with respect and always comply with applicable laws.
  613. Customers are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with BEACHOME4U” procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for its property, its employees and guests. Customers are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of BEACHOME4U, or cause offense to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services, or to remove you and members of your group from the house if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. In this case BEACHOME4U shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
  614. Customers should also take all necessary precautions to prevent theft. It is advisable to check if all doors and windows are closed before leaving the premises. For your own safety, please pay special attention to the front door of the building and ensure that this is always properly closed. For those with a vehicle, it is essential to not have visible items inside the vehicle.
  615. Every damage, malfunction and theft associated with the Customer will be charged according to the value of the damages.
  616. All children are welcome, and those under 2 years of age are free of charge. However if you are booking for an additional guest who is a minor, the Customer must be legally authorized to act on behalf of the minor and is the sole responsible for the supervision of that minor.
  617. It is strictly forbidden to lodge animals in BEACHOME4U. The introduction of animals by the Customer allows the BEACHOME4U management to inform the Customer of the obligation to leave, and the values paid in the meantime for the room in the booked period of stay will not be reimbursed.
  618. Due to a matter of respect and understanding towards all the guests, it is asked a special attention not to make any noise in the common areas, stairs, and corridors. Any activities that cause noise susceptible of disturbing the other guests are not allowed between 10 p. m. and 9 a. m..
  619. The Customer hereby warrants and ensures that he/she will not keep in the rooms any of the following:
  620. Any live animals of any description;
  621. Firearms, illegal drugs, and any other illegal substances or items;
  622. Anything specified, at any time, as being prohibited by the management;
  623. The Customer hereby warrants that they will not use the room for any illegal purpose, or sublet it.
  624. Price and Payment Conditions
  625. The price of stay paid by the Customer constitutes the right to use the booked room in the period between arrival and departure. The price will be charged regardless of whether the Customer effectively uses the room or not.
  626. All prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.
  627. Offers and promotions are temporary, defined by specific conditions, and subject to availability.
  628. The payment of the value of stay and additional services must be done at check-in or at the time of the booking.
  629. The payment can be made through one of these accepted credit cards: Euro/Mastercard, JCB, Discover, Visa, Diners Club, Maestro, UnionPay. It’s also possible to pay with cash, provided its EURO, and through Bank Transfer if made in the proper time. Any other form of payment is not acceptable.
  630. Responsibility of BEACHOME4U
  631. BEACHOME4U management will be responsible for ensuring proper conditions of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety of the guest house. EMPRESA and the BEACHOME4U management will not be responsible for any personal items that may disappear from within its facilities, for any damage to the Customer’s vehicles, and does not take any responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Customer in case of electronic transmission of payment data, being only responsible if there was an unlawful action attributable to it.
